Description
For your consideration thislovely, delicate antique bracelet that dates to the early 1900's. It features a platinum-topped 18 karat yellow gold navette shaped center panel beautifully decorated with fine milgrain edging attached to articulated 18K gold bar links. The center panel is comprised of twin white enamel lobes centering opposing green enamel "fan" designs. The enameling is done in plique a jour style. It centers an old European-cut diamond, flanked on either side with a smaller bezel set old European-cut diamond followed by a rose cut diamond set foliate motif. A small old European-cut diamond accents each green enamel "fan" and additional rose cut diamonds accent the sides and ends of the panel.
The panel measures 1 1/2 inches long and 1/2 of an inch at the widest center point. It fastens with a push-in clasp. Total length of the bracelet is 7 5/8 inches. Weight: 7.7 grams. The bracelet is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for platinum & 18k gold with a Niton DXL precious metal analyzer. This brooch was possibly made in France.
