It's a Wooden Karakuri Secret Box of Hakone Marquetry/Yosegizaiku !
It can be opened in 4 steps and if you look closely
at photos 1 to 7 and
toutch here and there accoording to our instruction then it will be opened.
This product is intended for you to think for yourself, so it does not
come with an instruction manual or an answer sheet from the beginning.
Please think for yourself and try ! Not recommended for the impatient !
[Special Note]
When shifting the right side and the left side, it is a little tight, so a force
is required. It can be opened by 4-steps. It will be shipped in the condition
shown in Photo No:2 for easy understanding.
Photo No:2 Lower the right side by about 3mm.(0.1182").We will ship it
under this condition already lowered right side about 3mm.
Photo No:3 Slide the top lid about 3mm(0.1182") to the right.
Photo No:4 Lower the left side by about 1.1cm(0.4331")
Photo No:5 Slide the top cover to the left to open.
Photo No:7 Left & Right lowering condition when opened.
The product will be damaged if handled with a strong force !
[Hakone Marquetry/Yosegizaiku]
Hakone Marquetry/Yosegizaiku is a woodworking technique that
combines various types of wood and draws patterns using the
differences in each color. In Japan ,it is famous  as a traditional
craft of Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture/Japan and has a
history of over 200 years.
[Remarks]
There may be areas that look whitish and dirty on the photos
which was made due to the reflection of the lighting when taking
photos but there isn't any whitish and dirty parts on the product !
The color is so beautiful Hakone Marquetry multicolors !
[Special Note of Bundled Shipment for U.S.A.]
The item weight is only abt.138gs(0.305lb) which is so small
& light. Our selling items are almost very small and light weight
but we must pay US.50- which is a minimum charge of freight
for 500gs(1.102lb) and therefore we recommend you to buy
multiple items so as total weight becomes around 420gs(0.926lb)
as we can ship these multiple items at same cost US.50 by
one same package.(The weight difference 80gs is Packing
materials’weight.)
Please calculate each item’s net weight according to our selling
lists and make their total net weight below abt.420gs(0.926lb).
The ordered item will be shipped by Expedited Shipment of Japan
Post. In case of Japan Post for U.S.A, they accept only Expedited
Shipment and not accepting other shipment like Standard Shipment
which is more cheaper cost than Expedited Shipment.
However, if you wish to ship multiple products in the same
package,
please be sure to inform us in advance each item to be combined
and after that we will send Invoice with adjustment of each freight,for
which you please make your payment according to our Invoice.
