Heathkit Model TC-2 Tube Checker Tester, Working with Manual

You are bidding on a Heathkit Model TC-2 Tube Tester.  It is in fairly nice condition, but was stored in a damp location.  The chassis itself is very clean, but moisture has allowed the oilcloth covering on the case to come loose at the seams, so glueing this back down would help a lot.  The case hardware is rusty, and the meter face has some scratches.  I tested a few tubes, and it worked fine, except the reading were low readings.  I discovered that the rheostat for setting the line voltage is off.  Setting the line voltage to the top end of the yellow band on the meter seems to provide the correct filament voltages to get accurate test readings on the meter.  A copy of the original instruction and assembly manual is included as well as a listing of supplemental tube data.  This model has sockets for testing early fat pin, Loktal, Octal, and 7 and 9-pin miniature tubes.  So it does not test the later compactrons.  So it is a good emission tester for most needs, with the caveat of setting the line voltage higher.  The case measures 14 1/2 by 11 1/2 by 6 1/4  inches in size.  I should be a nice tester for most applications.  Shipping weight is 15 pounds.
