Description
Hickok Model 47A tube tester serial #157791 is more than 90 years old yet is in a condition to hold a prominent place in the display case of a discerning collector depicting classic examples of fine quality craftsmanship of early radio development of the era 1920 - to early 1930. Many pictures are included for review in lieu of "powering the tester up". IF THIS TESTER is intended to be activated and used for demonstration or testing purposes, it is recommended the internal components be tested and any that are out of tolerance be replaced, then a variac be used to carefully bring the unit up to operation over time and very slowly due to its age. This tester boasts a multi pin socket to test 4,5, and 6 pin tubes and has a 7 pin socket and an octal tube socket.The tester itself weighs 20 lbs and measures 16"L x 12"W x 6"H. It will be well packed in a 18"L x 18"W x 10"H box with 5 lbs of packing. It will ship via USPS unless buyer selects UPS. Shipping costs based on lower 48 states. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada may be higher and all overseas shipping costs, customs costs, taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
