NOS VTG 50s MENS TAUPE RAYON DACRON SUMMER CASUAL CUFF PANTS NEW OLD "LEE" 32 32

Rare to find - This is a fabulous pair of original vintage mid 50s to very early 60s men's pants.  NEW OLD NEVER WORN WITH THE ORIGINAL TAG STILL ATTACHED AND CONSIDERED DEADSTOCK!!! The brand is LEE. A flat front with a 1 3/4" wide waistband to the 7/8" wide belt loops will accommodate a belt that is 1 1/2" wide. A small watch pocket on the right side against the waistband and slant pockets on each side; in the back is 2 slit flat pockets, one which has a button. A well working metal TALON zipper fly. So you can see how wide the legs are - laying flat and across they measure 13 3/4" at top of leg to the gusset crotch, 11" around the knees and 9 1/2" at the 1 3/4" wide cuff hem. You will see the fabric content is Dacron Polyester and Rayon, these pants lay and hang/drape just wonderfully and they are lightweight, which is perfect for summer. They definitely were created to be a summer pant. (Concerning that they have a polyester content, I have a bit of FYI, polyester was announced to the American public in 1951 and one of the selling points was the fact that it could be worn for 68 days straight w/out ironing or care and still look fresh.) This fabric is not like polyester it is more like a very lightweight wool cotton. The shade is medium taupe. And they are in extremely good condition. There is a dark thread spot in the back center at the belt loop, it is a dark thread from the factory manufacturing and the slightest faint mark about an inch on the right shin. Size is 32/ 32.
