Pair of Victorian 12k Solid Gold Taille d'Epargné Enamel Hinged Wedding Bracelet
I’m pleased to offer a pair of stunning c. 1885 gold & enamel bracelets, handmade to the highest standard.
These were likely made in the United States and are 12k solid yellow gold. These are not hallmarked, but have been x-ray tested. Their total weight is 46.09 grams. One of the safety chains is a replacement and is gold filled.
The condition of these bracelets is very good, with no external dents or scratches, and no loss of enamel. The enameled and turned designs are crisp, with no signs of wear. Both bracelets have a handful of very tiny dents on the inside surface only. The hinge on one bracelet is slightly loser than its mate, but this in no way effects its functionality or stability.
The bracelets have an internal circumference of 6.5 inches, meaning that they will fit a wrist slightly smaller than that. They are 13mm (about .5 inches) wide.
