Signed Aizu Japan Black Lacquered Jewelry Box w/ Mother of Pearl. The box measures 9 1/2" wide, and 6 3/4" top to bottom, and stands 2 1/2" tall. The finish is good, some light wear from touching. The interior is in great shape.
