Vintage 1940’s Asian Trinket Box,Little Girl On Cart With Donkey,Hand Painted

This listing is for a charming vintage porcelain Asian trinket box. This item was purchased in the Mid 1940's when my parents were married. They were married overseas around the time that World War 2 was coming to an end and when my father got his honorable discharge from the army they came home to NY to start a family and my mom decorated her apartment in an Art Deco Chinoiserie style which was popular at that time. For many years she had decorative shelves on the living room wall with Asian figures over a lovely deco coffee table, some from China, Japan and occupied Japan. Although this one does not have any identifying marks I remember my mom telling me this was a hand painted trinket box from Japan.  Since it is porcelain and glazed and baked. I assume she means the glaze colors were applied by hand. As child, I was not allowed to touch it so as not to break it, but I was always fascinated with the little wagon pulled by a donkey with a little girl on the top of the cover. It is a cute piece and is in very good condition for a porcelain collectible made in the 1940's. I did notice a little insignificant chip or rough spot in the back of the donkey on the lower black reigns that looks like it might have been touched up with a drop of black paint which you might be able to see in the enlarged last photo, but it hard to see - otherwise it is in perfect vintage condition.
From donkey to cart, the piece measures 8 &1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 4 & 3/4 tall.
I am retired now, so I am down sizing on collectibles, and I'd like to see them go to someone who will enjoy and use them and take care of them. I am not a store so
