  • Modification Description: one of the inner drawers and one foot have been replaced.
  • Condition: Has been refurbished, one leg and one drawer replaced, sadly it looks like someone replaced some of the inner drawer handles with ugly bulky handles. There is a key but the lock is not functional, door will slide open if chest is not level. There is a notch out of the top of the lock side door. Overall Surface wear and tarnish to the brass hinges and hasps.

    Vintage Japanese Wood Lacquer Jewelry Chest 9 Drawer
    Beautiful vintage Japanese wood lacquer 9 drawer jewelry chest. Measures approximately 16" height, 11.5" length, 5.5" depth. Has two large and two small outer drawers and 6 inner small drawers. It looks like someone replaced some of the inner drawer handles with ugly bulky handles. I have had replaced one foot, and one drawer, and had repaired some of the hinges. It has a key but the lock is not functional. The door on the right will slide open if not level.
