    Description

    Vintage Signed Japanese Wood Box:
    Vintage wooden box from the late 1930s to 1940s
    This belonged to an aunt who married in the mid-1930s and she had her love letters stored in this box
    The box appears to be hand painted and signed
    It might have originally held linens or stationary
    In NEAR MINT condition…only observable defects are a few small scratches on one side…see last photo
    The box has an overlapping lid
    Very clean
    Solid wood of unknown variety
    Measures 10-1/4” L x 7-5/16” W x 1-1/8” H
