    Description

    Up for sale is a Vintage Silverplate Dresser Box with Dragons on it. Made in Japan by ZU, Circa 1930-1947.
    The box features a gorgeous Dragon design on the lid and sides with intricate ornate designs on the corners and borders. The inside of the box is lines with wood that is painted black. The base of the box has a mark that reads "ZU / MADE IN JAPAN". The box is likely silverplated copper, with a very, very thin layer of silver.
    There is wear in the silverplating where the base metal is showing throughout the metal on the surface and there is a rip/tear in the metal of the lip on the lid as shown in the photos. Otherwise the box is in good condition and still displays nicely.
    Measurements are approximately:
    2 1/4" Tall.
